Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated - South Atlantic Region Welcome to the official page of the South Atlantic Region of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

has been at the forefront of impactful service in our communities for over 100 years. In the South Atlantic Region, we will continue our Uncompromising Commitment to the Communities utilizing the talents, skills and resources of every soror to service, lead and empower the communities where we live and work. We are a sisterhood called to serve. The programs and projects implemented by our chapters are framed by the five-point programmatic thrust of the sorority: Economic Development, Educational Development, Physical and Mental Health, Political Awareness and Involvement and International Awareness and Involvement. The 160 chapters of this Region are working diligently to uphold the mission set forth by our twenty-two Founders and are committed to improving the lives of others by “Inspiring a Legacy of Excellence: Dedicated to Sisterhood, Scholarship and Service“.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the courage of the first responders and everyday heroes who answered the call, and recognize the families whose lives were forever changed.

May we continue to carry forward the spirit of unity, compassion, service, and resilience that reminds us of the strength found in standing together.

25 years later. We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Today, and every day, we honor the dignity and contribution of all workers who help to move our nation forward.

Happy Labor Day!

History In The Making!

Please join us in celebrating our SENSATIONAL Sorors Kolenya “K.Z.” Thomas and Paula Stokes Dance, who are making history as the first Black women to hold Pitt County’s two highest law enforcement positions. Soror Thomas is Greenville’s first Black woman Chief of Police, and Soror Dance serves as Pitt County’s Sheriff. Congratulations, Sorors!

Thank you to everyone who helped make the 32nd South Atlantic Regional Conference such a memorable experience!

We're excited to share the digital Conference Souvenir Journal, a beautiful reflection of our conference theme, Deltas Reign in the Queen City. Thank you to our sponsors, Crimson Rise donors, advertisers, chapters, sorors, local businesses, corporations, memorial tributes, and everyone who contributed to making this publication and event possible.

We truly hope you enjoy looking back through the memories, messages, and moments that made this conference so special. We invite you to flip through the pages, celebrate the accomplishments of our South Atlantic Region, and revisit the spirit of sisterhood, service, and excellence that filled Charlotte throughout the conference.

As the 2024-2026 biennium comes to a close, we pause to honor a leader, trailblazer, advocate, and soror who poured her heart into the Sensational South Atlantic Region.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to immediate past Regional Representative, Madison R. Manley, for her dedication, leadership, and tireless service on behalf of our region's more than 2,000 collegiate women.

From leading social action initiatives and community outreach efforts to championing collegiate engagement across the region, Soror Manley showed up in a major way - and we are better because of it!
