Just a little Garden update if you are available to help plant tend w**d or water this summer send me a message. I can always use more help. I’m also taking donations for mulch, wood chips plants for the unpleated beds and soil for the beds that are empty.

The rain has finally come and I am excited about this growing season! I still need a few volunteers to help w**d and water this summer. Let me know if you could commit to helping out!

I started planting the seedlings from the milk jugs today and got most of two beds planted with tomato, kale, collard greens, basil, cilantro and bush beans. If you are interested in making donations I could do with bags of compost and garden soil, any seedlings you want to donate but in particular cucumbe, Eggplant, Bell pepper, Hot pepper, dill, rosemary, thyme, oregano. Squash has not done very well at the garden do to space constraints and squash bugs.

I am so grateful for The Church at West End work day at the community garden! We moved garden beds, assembled, installed and filled additional, did some winter sowing and spring planting!

Hey friends! I’m hosting an herbal immune boosting workshop at my house and thought you might want to come. Hey friends! I’m pretty much finished at the garden for the season. I’m hoping to get a cover crop in this fall. Hopefully we can figure out how to prevent the deer from eating everything in time for spring crops!!

Nothing says summer like berries ripening on a vine! I’ve almost finished w**ding and planting all the beds. Good things are growing! I can always use help watering the garden. If there is a day of the week you can commit to please let me know!
