This year the Annual Fund for Friends of the Foundation has special
significance. With Irmo High School having been named a Fine Arts Magnet School, your contribution to the Education Foundation will have an impact in supporting this program and towards the continued success of Irmo High’s International Baccalaureate Program. Last year the Foundation collected close to $11,000 for the endowment, Academic Banquet, and teacher requests. The goal this year is to raise $20,000. As state funding declines and competition among schools increases, private support can mean the difference between a good public high school and a great one.
We would like for as many individuals and businesses to join us. You can become a member of the Foundation at different giving levels:

$1000 and above – Founders Board
$999 to $500 – Black and Gold Club
$499 to $ 250 – Yellow Jacket Society
$249 to $ 100 – Foundation Backer
$99 and under – Irmo Supporter

Thank you for your support, together we can maintain Irmo’s tradition of excellence! Contact Danny Westerkam, IHS Foundation Chair at www.IHSEF.com.

The mission of the Irmo High School Education foundation is to promote educational programs, sponsor initiatives, projects, and programs for Irmo High School, its education professionals, and students, and to establish and/or support other statewide forums for sharing ideas, information and resource…

Because of the generous donations from teachers, alumni, and
parents, the IHSEF has developed a current endowment of over $62,000, and has provided IHS teachers with close to $57,000 worth of instructional supplies. The foundation helped students across the spectrum including special education, career and technology, and AP/IB classes.
