Fun City Youth Academy is about enriching the lives of our students through positive learning experiences. Our organization has two main academies:

Summer Academy: Our Summer Academy program caters to elementary children from 1st grade to 5th grade. We begin our program the 2nd week in June and continue for 7 weeks. This program uses CPS teachers in the mornings to fill the achievement gap in mat

h and reading. The afternoon teachers are our amazing Fun City teachers who focus on subjects like science, entrepreneurship, music, gardening, fitness, and a number of other enrichment activities. Saturday Academy: During the regular school year, we hold a weekly Saturday Academy for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Our Saturday Academy provides our students a safe, supportive environment to learn and grow. The focus of this program is to fill the achievement gap in reading and math, while providing the students the opportunity to explore other fields like science, music, and art.

For decades, Fun City Youth Academy has been a proud local non-profit dedicated to reducing crime in our community by empowering our youth. When young people are given tools for education, self-awareness, and personal growth, they become the strongest force for positive change.

Every day, our students are learning, creating, dreaming, and building the skills that help them grow into confident, responsible, and community-minded leaders. But we can’t do this important work alone.
