Incorporated in 1967, the Columbia Housing Corporation was founded by a tripartite league of religious organizations that included the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Baltimore, the Combined Ministries (a Protestant association), and t

he Jewish Council of Howard County. In 1978 Howard County community representatives replaced the faith based governing body continuing its goal by providing affordable housing for low and moderate-income families of Howard County.
