If you've been looking for a reason to get outside, this is it! Join us for our Trailblazer 5K and enjoy a peaceful walk, hike, or run through 170 beautiful acres of rolling hills, forests, ponds, wildlife, and our rescued animals.

✨ The trail can be comfortably completed in about 90 minutes, making it perfect for hikers of all experience levels.

By joining us, you're doing more than enjoying a beautiful morning—you're helping us build the future of The Barnyard Sanctuary, spreading awareness, and sharing the beauty of this incredible land with others. Every photo, every story, and every visit helps our mission grow.

The changing seasons, stronger storms, disappearing wildlife, and shifting habitats remind us that every living thing shares the same home. Whether we walk on two, four, or more legs, live in the water, or fly with wings, we are all connected.

🦋 The Monarchs Have Arrived! 🦋

Our first 14 monarch butterflies have successfully emerged, and more are emerging throughout today and tomorrow! Over the next day, they'll be relaxing in our butterfly vivarium, surrounded by fresh milkweed, nectar-rich flowers, fresh fruit, and a watering area as they prepare for their journey into the wild.

Our vivarium is located along the driveway on the right-hand side, directly across from the parking area.

Everyone is welcome! Come spend a beautiful summer evening with us as we celebrate these magnificent butterflies. Watch them up close, take photos, enjoy some fresh watermelon, and witness one of nature's most incredible transformations as we release them into our pollinator fields.

Looking for a meaningful way to spend time outdoors? Come volunteer at our beautiful 170-acre sanctuary, home to rescued farm animals, rolling hills, forests, pollinator meadows, ponds, and an incredible variety of native wildlife. Every day offers something new—from caring for rescued animals to seeing deer, butterflies, birds, turtles, bees, and countless other species that call this land home.

Volunteering here is more than lending a hand. It's an opportunity to enjoy nature, stay active, learn new skills, meet great people, and make a lasting difference for animals, wildlife, and conservation. Whether you're looking for a therapeutic escape, an educational experience, or simply a rewarding way to give back, we'd love to have you join our team.

We're looking for volunteers with experience—or simply a willingness to learn—in:

Even if you can only give a few hours each week, we'd love to have you! Remote opportunities are also available for outreach, marketing, social media, graphic design, and creative projects.

Dedicated volunteers may also have the opportunity to become an Ambassador of The Barnyard Sanctuary, helping represent our mission, grow our community, and make an even greater impact.
