A very special one today. Hard to beleive but baby girl little Sassa turns 9yrs old today..she is everyone's favorite. The special needs little wolf born with leg deformities and missing part of her brain. Drs said she wouldn't live but a couple months and here she is the little fighter thriving at 9yrs old. We are proud of you little Sassa. Happy birthday!!!!! (She got a nice sirloin steak for dinner... dont tell the other wolves)

Lots of birthdays this time of the year. Today is a big one for our oldest wolf at the preserve. Our sweet old man, Tikanni, turned 15yrs old today. Not supposed to have favorites but.... he definitely is one. One of the friendliest, sweetest coolest wolves we have ever had. Happy birthday my friend. We love you!

This howl is for the West Milford Macopin Middle School, Highlander United club. They did a fundraiser at the school and collected items we need to help us take care of the animals. They recently donated the items and came for a tour to meet the animals they were helping. Thank you, Thank you!!!
