PET OF THE DAY!
Max and Miley are a devoted bonded pair who are searching for a family to call their own. These two have shared their lives together and will need to be adopted as a pair.
Max is a laid-back, affectionate boy who enjoys spending most of his day relaxing, and snoring, near his people. He loves belly rubs and will happily roll over for more. While he enjoys curling up in your lap for a while, he is just as content lounging nearby and taking a nap. At bedtime, Max prefers to sleep right on the bed with his humans.
Max definitely loves his food! He is a fast and enthusiastic eater and will gladly help himself to Miley's meal if given the opportunity. He also gets very excited about treats so care should be taken when offering them by hand. Max does have hypothyroidism and seasonal alopecia, which are being managed, but otherwise enjoys a happy, comfortable life.
Miley is a sweet, loving girl who enjoys snuggling on the couch. One of her favorite things to do is root her head under your arm so you will hold her close while she relaxes beside you. She loves belly rubs, jumps up on the couch and bed with ease, and enjoys being wherever her people are. Miley is great at communicating her needs and will let you know when she is ready for a meal, wants to go outside, or is looking for attention. Recently, she has taken to carrying a toy around with her and even bringing it to bed. She also enjoys watching kittens play from the other side of a fence and finds them fascinating.
Both dogs are house-trained and have excellent manners in the home. They are accustomed to free-roaming and do not require a crate. They are trustworthy when left alone and have never been destructive or had accidents in the house.
If you are looking for two loving companions who will bring warmth, laughter, and plenty of cuddles to your home, Max and Miley may be the perfect match.
Max is 9-1/2 years old and weighs 25 pounds.
Miley is 6-1/2 years old and weighs 25 pounds.
They are little chunky monkeys and would benefit from a weight loss program.
Location: Foster home
All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. Dogs may be in a foster home, therefore scheduling an appointment is recommended. If you have an existing dog at home, we recommend bringing it along to meet your possible new family member.
