We’re growing our team at Southeast Missouri Food Bank.

We’re currently hiring a Food Sourcing Manager – Agriculture & Manufacturing Partnerships, a role focused on building relationships with farmers, growers, manufacturers, and industry partners to help bring more nutritious food to neighbors across southeast Missouri.

This position plays an important part in strengthening our food supply, expanding partnerships, and helping ensure families have access to the food they need.

If you have experience in agriculture, sourcing, logistics, manufacturing, procurement, or relationship management, we’d love to hear from you.

We are so excited to be at the Cardinals Game in partnership with Missouri Farm Bureau Insurance for !

This partnership highlights the importance of everyone working together to make sure none of our neighbors face hunger alone. Farm Bureau Insurance employees have been working over the last month to raise awareness and resources in their communities.

Today, the St. Louis Cardinals have partnered to offer fans attending the game tickets in exchange for donations to the St. Louis Area Foodbank.

URGENT 🚨: Volunteers needed in response to Southern Missouri storms!

📢 Urgent volunteer call for 12 p.m. today, April 29!

After the severe hail storm yesterday, some of our farmer friends were left with damage to their crops. One of our partner farms has asked for help to harvest the remaining strawberries in their field to help with the plants' recovery and prevent mold on future berries. We're asking for your help to get these berries out of the field so we can help our farmers out and get the edible berries to folks facing hunger today!

For safety reasons, please sign up before attending and arrive with tall waterproof shoes. There is likely standing water in the field's pathways.

Day One at the Feeding America Leadership Conference was amazing.

Networking with other PSAs (Partner State Associations- that’s we are 😉) brought some fresh ideas to grab the opportunities we have as a network to bring more healthy, nutritious food to our Missouri neighbors.

We also got to hear from Feeding America’s New CEO Denis McDonough on his vision for strengthening our network.
