Are you a teen who wants to make a difference in your community, build your leadership skills, and grow your understanding of social justice work — all while earning community service hours?
The HopeWorks Youth Leadership Project (YLP) is now accepting applications for our 2026–2027 Cohort!
YLP is a service-learning program for teens ages 13–18 who are interested in learning about social justice, violence prevention, and challenging systems of oppression.
Throughout the school year, Youth Leaders:
🌱 Develop leadership and public speaking skills
💬 Engage in meaningful conversations about social justice and healthy relationships
🫶 Learn skills for violence prevention, self-care, and community safety
📣 Serve as outreach specialists and educate their peers
🎨 Create a Zine exploring liberation and youth power
⭐ Earn community service hours
Most importantly, YLP is a safe, affirming space where young people of all identities can learn, question, connect, create, and use their voices to make a difference.
