Columbia Young Life Young Life's mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith.

We're currently have teams of volunteer leaders at AC Flora, Ben Lippen, Crayton, Dreher, Hammond, and Hand.

Columbia Young Life lost a hero over the weekend. David Poole (here in the Clemson sweatshirt throwing up some bunny ears) selflessly served our staff and volunteer leaders for over 40 years. Often he was behind the scenes doing thankless work for the sake of kids (including myself and Crystal when we were in high school). He was the YL board chair when we were kids and I had no idea such a thing even existed haha. But we had a YL leader because of him! Most recently he helped us pioneer a brand new ministry to incarcerated teens (how cool is that). He has now finished the race and it was a race well run! He’s with his precious Lord and Savior, but he is sure gonna be missed here. YL in Columbia just won’t be the same without him. We are praying daily for Leah Poole and the family for sure.

Last week leaders + students ate a LOT of wings while raising over $9,000 to go towards our summer camp trips for this year!

Huge thank you to all who sponsored, as well as Buffalo Wild Wings for hosting us! We are thrilled that 200 students and leaders from our area will attend a week of YL camp this summer, not to mention the ones serving on work crew!

There are tons of amazing things about Young Life camp but without a doubt, the best part is that leaders bring kids to camp and come home with them after!

For 50 years, Columbia Young Life leaders have been living life with teenagers in our community. Through countless hours spent together, adventures, and great conversations right here in our neighborhoods, real faith transformation happens. We need your help as we set up camp in Columbia for the next 50!
