Introducing our next session titled: AI in Pharmacy: From Awareness to a Practical Governance Framework presented by Evan Glaser and Jon Lasley.

This 1.5‑hour CE session helps pharmacists and technicians understand where AI is already appearing in pharmacy practice and how to use it safely. Attendees will start with a 101‑level overview of common AI use cases and key risks, then participate in a 301‑level roundtable to build components of an AI acceptable use policy and apply a human‑in‑the‑loop framework. Participants will leave with a practical risk assessment checklist and a policy template they can adapt to their own practice.

About the presenters:
Evan Glaser is co‑founder of Alongside AI and an IAPP‑certified AI Governance Professional (AIGP). He has experience supporting AI governance in regulated industries including life sciences, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and finance, and previously designed GDPR‑compliant data security solutions for financial services clients.

Jon Lasley is co‑founder of Alongside AI, where he leads engineering and product development. He holds a Master of Sciences with a concentration in Pharmacology and has experience delivering software in the highly regulated medical device industry. At Alongside AI he builds AI tooling and works with clients across healthcare, finance, and other regulated sectors to support responsible AI adoption.
