🔨 **Sometimes the job calls for a little patience, a tape measure…and a whole lot of attention to detail!**

During our GO Event at Ms. Kathy’s, Alex got to work creating a new transition between two different types of flooring.

Measure. Cut. Fit. Check it again. And probably measure one more time for good measure. 😄

It may seem like a small project, but these are the kinds of details that help make a home safer, more functional, and simply feel more finished.

We’re thankful for volunteers like Alex who are willing to slow down, figure out the problem, and use their skills to serve someone else. ❤️

🌿 **Sometimes it’s the little things that make a BIG difference.** ❤️

During our GO Event at Ms. Kathy’s, our volunteers didn’t just tackle the big projects—they showed some love to her flower beds too!

Old edging came out, beds were cleaned up, mulch went down, and everything got a fresh new look. 🌱🙌

Because serving someone well means paying attention to the details, too.

When you have a fence company owner volunteer for a Second Saturday GO Event… you put those skills and knowledge to work! 🔨🙌

And that’s exactly what happened here.

What started as an old, worn-out fence turned into a brand-new one thanks to volunteers willing to jump in, work together, and use the skills God has given them to serve someone else.

One of the things we love about our GO Events is that everyone brings something different to the table. Sometimes the perfect person shows up with exactly the experience a project needs—and we’re more than happy to put them to work doing what they do best! 😄

Every volunteer brings something different to a GO Event. Some build, some paint, some clean, some organize, some pray, and some simply show up with a willing heart.

This past Saturday at Ms. Kathy's home, we saw people of all ages and skill levels using the gifts God has given them to serve others. When everyone uses their unique abilities, lives are impacted and communities are strengthened.

A simple handrail can make a life-changing difference. ❤️

One of the many projects completed during Ms. Kathy's GO Event was installing brand-new handrails on the side entrance of her home.

What may seem like a small project provides something much bigger—added safety, confidence, and peace of mind every time she enters or leaves her home.

This is what Second Saturday is all about. Using the skills God has given us to make homes warmer, safer, and drier while showing the love of Christ through practical service.

At Second Saturday, repairing homes is important—but it's never our highest priority.

Our greatest desire is to share the love of Christ with every homeowner we serve.

That's why every GO Event includes a Bible signed by the volunteers who spent the day serving. It's more than a keepsake. It's a reminder that every repair, every conversation, every prayer, and every act of service is done for the glory of God.

We pray that long after the projects are complete, Ms. Kathy will be reminded that she is loved by both her community and her Savior.

One trailer. Countless volunteer hours. One transformed backyard. ❤️

What started as a backyard filled with years of debris became a clean, usable space thanks to an incredible team of volunteers willing to roll up their sleeves and serve.

Projects like this aren't just about hauling away piles of wood and debris—they're about restoring peace of mind, creating safer spaces, and reminding homeowners that they are not alone.

A special thank you to Liberty Containers for generously donating the trailer that made this cleanup possible. Your support helped us remove years of debris and make a lasting difference for Ms. Kathy.

Every load hauled away and every hour spent serving was another way our volunteers showed the love of Christ in action.
