Missouri Community Development Society Missouri Community Development Society (MoCDS) was founded in 1969. MoCDS is a local affiliate, or chapter, of the national Community Development Society (CDS).

Launched in 2013, this Facebook initiative seeks to better support statewide communications for all people and organizations interested and working in community development. CDS was founded in 1969 in Columbia, MO. It evolved from a program of study in community development begun in 1962 by the University of Missouri. As membership grew, a state affiliate system was established. The Missouri Chapter was founded in 1980.

The highest-paying certification program in Missouri, three years post-graduation, is the General Construction Trades Certificate with a median annual income of $57,096, according to MoSCORES. Out of the top five highest-paid certificate programs, completers of the Industrial Production Technologies/Technicians Certificate had the highest payroll employment rate of 71% three years after completion.

MoSCORES, a data tool from the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development, provides a variety of work outcome measures for Missouri public institution degree and certificate program graduates.
