Alpha Gamma Rho alumni (including members of the Theta Chapter) were proud to take part in a USDA Data Modernization roundtable at the 2026 Missouri State Fair. A great opportunity to discuss how USDA data that is accurate and timely can support farmers, researchers, and agricultural decision-making. Glad to see AGR alumni continuing to remain engaged in improving the agricultural industry.

Members from the Theta Chapter included: USDA Under Secretary for Farm Production and Conservation, Richard Fordyce of Bethany Missouri, Missouri Soybean Association President, Cody Brock of Stet Missouri, and Missouri Corn Growers Association Secretary/ Treasurer, Brandon Thiel of Marshall Missouri. From the Alpha Zeta Chapter (Kansas State) was University of Missouri Row Crop Extension Economist, Ben Brown of Appleton City Missouri. From the Beta-Omega Chapter (Missouri State) was Missouri Farm Bureau President, Garrett Hawkins of Appleton City Missouri.

We are honored to announce we received the highest honor from AGR Nationals on Committed Alumni Corporation. This is possible because of all the alumni who have served on the Build Association and participated in the strategic planning workshops, the alumni who have attended chapter events, donated to the 1.2 million capital campaign, and helped recruit new members to the fraternity! Thank you to all those individuals and many more. To stay at the top will require more members to join in alumni efforts and help move Theta Chapter Forward!

At AGR National Convention this week - 11 undergraduates from Chapters across the country were recognized for their scholarship, service and leadership. The Theta Chapter is proud to announce that two of our members were among the receipients. Owen Reynolds- Senior in Personal and Professional Finance & Agribuisness Management from Booneville, MO and Noah Graham 2026 graduate in Agricultural Systems Management, Patterson MO. Congratulations Brothers!

National AGR convention has started in Louisville, KY. Representing Theta Chapter include Mid-South Regional VP Kayden Guymon, 2026 Vice Noble Ruler Lake Reid, Chapter Advisor Justin Eddy, 2026 Noble Ruler Nate Stever, and Building Association Treasurer Caleb Robertson. It’s already been a successful convention with two national scholarship recipients! Theta Forward!

It was hot, but that didn't stop the 2026 AGR Memorial Golf Tournament! AGR's and friends gathered in Centralia this past weekend for friendly competition on the greens. Congratulations to Mitchell Roling and Ryan Distler (2007 initiates) for winning this year's tournament with a score of 6 under par!

We also want to thank this year's tournament sponsors: MFA Incorporated- Centrailia, Fabick CAT, Edward Jones- Justin Eddy, Americare-Senior Living & Memory Care, and Seven Hills Livestock.

We will be back at it next summer creating memories and raising money for the AGR Alpha Gamma Rho-Theta Chapter Scholarship Fund!

Alpha Gamma Rho at Mizzou is looking for young men committed to lifelong personal development, professional success, and a commitment to both scholarship and leadership.

Christian Siegel, junior in agribusiness management, says his experience with Alpha Gamma Rho is defined by leadership, service, and personal growth such as Mizzou Homecoming committees and the AGR Cattle Show. "These experiences allow me to develop valuable teamwork and professional skills while building lifelong friendships and connections that continue to shape my future."
