🚨JUST IN: Former Assistant Anoka County Attorney Andrea Sampson, 35, has been arrested and charged with 26 felonies related to human trafficking and prostitution.

Sampson faces 13 counts of promoting prostitution of an individual and 13 counts of receiving profits from prostitution.

According to court documents, she is accused of helping operate a s*x trafficking ring that victimized at least 13 women across the Twin Cities area. Investigators allege she secured locations for commercial s*x acts and created shell companies to funnel and conceal the profits.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension had been investigating the operation since 2021. Sampson worked in the Anoka County Attorney’s Office (Family Law and Civil Division) until she was placed on leave in February 2026 after the office learned of the probe. Her employment ended in March.

She is currently in custody. Other individuals have also been charged in connection with the ring.

Even when individuals appear to be willing participants, reality is often much different. Many victims of trafficking are controlled through fear, coercion, manipulation, or circumstances others cannot see.

Authorities announced that 341 suspects were arrested and 40 children were rescued or identified as victims during “Operation Firewall,” a large-scale multi-agency operation against child s*xual exploitation.
The operation, which ran from April 19 to May 3 across five Southern California counties, involved over 112 law enforcement agencies. Many of the rescued children have already been reunited with their families.

Many Christians are giving thanks to God for His grace and mercy. They see this successful operation as an answer to prayer and a powerful demonstration of God’s protection over the vulnerable.

Believers are praising the Lord for moving in the hearts of law enforcement and for bringing justice and rescue to these precious children.“Every child rescued is a testimony of God’s goodness and unfailing love,” one local pastor shared.
