October 20 is National Youth Confidence Day—a celebration of the energy, spirit, and possibilities within every young person!

At Junior Achievement in Central Missouri, we help students build the knowledge, skills, and confidence to take their next steps. Through financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship, students discover their strengths, explore opportunities, and begin to imagine what their futures can hold.

Behind those moments of discovery are educators, volunteers, mentors, and caring adults whose encouragement says: “You can do this. Your ideas matter. Your future is worth investing in.” 🌟

For National Stop Bullying Day, Junior Achievement in Central Missouri is sharing a simple reminder: every student deserves to feel safe, valued, and included.

Building brighter futures begins with creating spaces where young people feel comfortable being themselves, asking questions, and pursuing their dreams—without fear of being bullied.

We all have a part to play:
💬 Listen when a child shares a concern.
🤝 Include someone who feels left out.
🗣️ Speak up when you see unkind behavior.
💙 Encourage students to tell a trusted adult—and remind them that asking for help is brave.

On National Tradesmen Day, Junior Achievement in Central Missouri recognizes the skilled professionals who build, repair, create, maintain, and strengthen the places where we live, work, and learn.

From carpenters and electricians to plumbers, welders, mechanics, HVAC technicians, and countless other skilled trades professionals, these careers require knowledge, creativity, problem-solving, and expertise—and they provide incredible opportunities for the next generation.
