Northern Regional Shooting Sports competition is underway and Caldwell 4-H has participated in archery and shotgun-modified trap so far with rifle and advanced shotgun still to come.
Archery Results: Junior Genesis Tyler B. 4th place, Victoria L. 7th place and Vivian L. qualified for state; 3rd Place Junior Genesis Team members are Tyler B., Victoria L., Vivian L., and Jase R.; Jr. Compound (9-11) Limited/Pins Drake R. qualified for state; Jr. Compound (12-13) Open Tyler B. 2nd Place; Senior Genesis Virginia L. 6th Place; Sr. Compound Open Luke C. 7th place & EmmaLynn C. qualified for state; Sr. Compound Limited/Pins Virginia L. 8th place; Jr 3-D Compound (9-11) Limited/Pins Drake R. 6th Place; Jr 3-D Compound (12-13) Open Tyler B. 7th place; Jr 3-D Genesis Victoria L. 7th Place; Sr 3-D Compound-Open Chance B. 6th place & EmmaLynn C. qualified for state.

The 4-H Fishing Clinic will be held from 8:30 -11:00 AM on Saturday, March 28. All supplies (poles, bait, etc.) will be provided.
Members who participate in the clinic will be able to compete in the Most Fish Caught and Biggest Fish contests and learn about
outdoor safety. If you plan to participate in this event, you must call
the 4-H office at 318-649-2663 to preregister by Wednesday, March 25.
There are a limited number of spaces available to participate in this clinic.
Once spaces are filled, members will be placed on a waiting list and
may not be able to participate. Preregistration will be used for sign-in on the day of the Fishing Clinic. This contest is open to all Caldwell 4-H’ers.

PET SHOW RESCHEDULED FOR MARCH 23, 2026 in front of CPHS!
Registration begins at 1:30 and the pet show starts at 2:00. Categories are Dogs, Small Animals (turtles, birds, gerbils, lizards, cats, rabbits, etc.), and Large Animals (sheep, goats, horses, cows, etc.).

It was great seeing former Caldwell 4-H’er Leslee Bennett at the SeaPerch competition at Louisiana Tech today!
Leslee, now the Communication Specialist for the College of Education and Human Sciences, was interviewing OBCA 4-H’ers during the event. Always wonderful to see former 4-H members doing great things and staying connected to the program!
