Beta Beta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Beta Beta Zeta Chapter Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Beta Beta Zeta (BBZ) Chapter, was chartered on September 8, 1940.

BBZ was the first Columbia, South Carolina area graduate chapter, of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. The women of Beta Beta Zeta have continued to carry on the founding principles of our "Five Pearls," through giving of themselves by conducting community service projects, partnering with organizations on community service projects within our community, providing scholarships to eligible college students through our bi-annual Blue Revue Cotillion, and civil service projects by promoting voter education and voter registration projects. Beta Beta Zeta sponsors and serves as advisors to young Zeta's on three Columbia area undergraduate campus chapters; Benedict College (Kappa Beta), Allen University (Lambda), and University of South Carolina (Psi Eta). Beta Beta Zeta’s Amicae auxiliary, founded in 1980, also assists with goals of service to the community.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Beta Beta Zeta Chapter attended the 17th Annual Color Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Gala at Brookland Baptist Church.

It was an inspiring evening of fellowship, awareness, health, hope, and empowerment centered around this year’s powerful theme:
“God, Don’t Play About Me!”

The featured guest Dr. Dorinda Clark-Cole was simply awesome.

We honored survivors, remembered those we’ve lost, and continued the important conversation around breast cancer awareness.

Oh So Sweet it is! It appears the calendar has bestowed upon us a most delightful occasion… National Dessert Day!

And surely, even the most devoted woman of service deserves a little sweetness now and then. Whether your heart belongs to red velvet, peach cobbler, banana pudding, or a perfectly decadent slice of cheesecake, today is a splendid excuse to indulge! After all, life is far too short to save all the sweetness for special occasions. Now, Lady Zaffire has just one question for the gathering…

If you could enjoy only ONE dessert for the rest of your days, what would it be? Do tell, my dears! And kindly remember, there shall be no judgment… unless someone declares that they do not care for dessert at all. 🤭

Yours in Sisterhood and a little sweetness,
Lady Zaffire
