Columbia East Rotary Club

Columbia East Rotary Club Our Club was chartered on April 8, 1981. Since that time our club has made a positive difference in our community, supporting our youth and those in need.

Since our charter, the Columbia East Rotary Club club has made a true difference in our community. Since 1997 we have provided a yearly overnight camping experience for over 950 boys and girls from local elementary schools for an educational and recreational experience. Many scholarships to Midlands Technical College have been awarded and for years our club provided financial and mentoring support

for a local children's home. Hundreds of dictionaries have been distributed to third-grade students in local schools, and local charities have been given thousands of dollars in donations and volunteer service since our charter.

Columbia East Rotary Club…An Absolutely Gorgeous Day at Camp Gravatt (Near Aiken, SC) for Columbia East Rotary Club’s Annual Weekend “Camp OK” (Outstanding Kids). This Young Lady Just Caught Her First Fish Ever!!! While the Young Ladies Were Fishing, the Young Men Were Ascending to New Heights on the High Ropes Course. Archery, Swimming, (Plus Every Sport You Think Of During Free Play), S’Mores Around the Camp Fire, and Movie Night Means a Full Day and Wonderful Memories for This Group of 32 Almost 7th Graders!!!
