We are honored to partner with the City of Laurel and the Laurel Multiservice Center, a vital resource supporting community members who are experiencing homelessness or navigating difficult transitions.

The Center plays an essential role in providing meals, showers, laundry services, medical and mental-health support, workforce guidance, and a safe space for individuals and families who need it most. Their commitment to dignity, access, and community care aligns deeply with our mission at Onyx Cares Foundation.

As we move into the season of service, we are excited to support the Center’s work and help expand their impact across Laurel and the surrounding region.

To everyone who continues to stand with us, our donors, partners, and volunteers, THANK YOU! Your generosity makes it possible for us to serve families with warmth, nourishment, and hope.

We are truly excited and honored to step into this moment. The Onyx Cares Foundation, in partnership with the City of Laurel, is deeply committed to supporting not only families in need, but also members of the displaced community through our Feeding Families initiative and upcoming Holiday Luncheon. All required insurance and certifications are already in place, and we are fully prepared to serve.

We’re so grateful that our federal workers have returned to work, but many families and displaced individuals in our community are still struggling. Beyond the recent furloughs, reduced SNAP benefits, housing instability, and rising costs continue to impact countless lives. In Maryland alone, 1 in 8 people face hunger.
Your continued support helps us serve our community with warmth, nourishment, dignity, and hope.

A very special thank you to all of our donors, and to Trader Joe’s and Costco, for their generosity and partnership. Your support allows us to extend our reach and uplift even more members of our community.

Your continued support helps us serve our community with warmth, nourishment, dignity, and hope.

Onyx Cares Foundation (onyxcares.org) is proud to present Feeding Families with Celebrity Chef Razia Sabour, winner of Oprah Winfrey’s Network Great Soul Food Cook-Off and founder of Fuller Food (fullerfood.com).

Together, we’re bringing warmth, nourishment, and cultural pride to families across our community.

Renowned for her artistry and compassion, Chef Razia has delighted icons such as Queen Latifah, Gabrielle Union, Toni Braxton, Stevie Wonder, Steve and Marjorie Harvey, and Tyrese Gibson and now, through Onyx Cares, she’s bringing that same passion home to serve local families. She is donating 100% of her time.

Your support directly helps us provide Thanksgiving meals to families impacted by the federal furloughs and interruption of SNAP food-assistance benefits. Our goal this season is to prepare fresh, soul-filled meals for 100 families in need.
All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

100% of donations go directly toward food and supplies for this effort.

Let’s serve our DMV community well!

Onyx Cares was proud to support the Dora Kennedy French Immersion School (DKFI) End-of-Year activities last school year by assisting with their fundraising efforts. Because of this collective effort, students were able to experience the joy of a prom and a celebratory trip, memories they’ll carry for a lifetime. 💫

Seeing their smiles, style, and spirit reminds us why investing in our youth is so important. 🎓❤️

At Onyx Cares, we believe in creating opportunities that celebrate hard work, resilience, and community. Congratulations to these amazing students on a fantastic year. We can’t wait to see all that the future holds for you! 🌟
