When disaster strikes, our first responders show up. And so do we. ❤️

Following the devastating fire at the mattress manufacturing plant in Winnsboro, The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services team was requested by South Carolina Emergency Management to provide meal support for the first responders working the scene.

Our team is in Winnsboro today preparing and serving meals — doing what we can to take care of those who are working tirelessly to keep the community safe.

Serving them while they serve the community.

We are grateful for our EDS team and volunteers who are always ready to answer the call, and especially thankful for the first responders on the ground in Winnsboro.

Please keep the employees affected by this fire, their families, the first responders and the entire Winnsboro community in your prayers.

Community partnerships make a difference! ❤️

We are grateful to Zion Baptist Church for hosting a food drive to help stock the shelves and provide much-needed food for individuals and families in our community.

Every donation helps us continue meeting needs right here in the Midlands—and we are thankful for churches and community partners who come alongside us in that mission.

We were honored to provide 𝟐𝟓 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 to 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬, one of our dedicated Emergency Disaster Services volunteers, to share with children through his church family.

Larry's heart for serving others extends far beyond disaster response. Through partnerships like these, we're able to help ensure more students begin the school year with the supplies they need to succeed.

We are grateful for volunteers like Larry who faithfully serve our community and help extend hope wherever it's needed.

A huge thank you to JT's Automotive Group for not only donating more than 200 backpacks for local students, but also for rolling up their sleeves and helping load every one of them!
