The South Carolina Retail Association (SCRA) is a trade organization whose mission is to improve the public image, effectiveness and profitability of the retail industry in the Palmetto state. We represent a variety of merchants in every county, both large and small, and make it our priority to give them all a voice in Columbia.

A tax-exempt organization supported entirely by members’ dues, the association is governed by a 15-member board of directors who represent retail entities as diverse as apparel, convenience, department, electronics, grocery, home improvement, and pharmacy stores.

Our nonprofit partners are mobilizing teams and resources to assess damage, deliver relief supplies and begin cleanup and repairs, including:

🚚 Convoy of Hope and Operation Blessing are setting up operations across the Southeast to distribute food, water, hygiene items, cleaning supplies and meals to impacted communities.

🍽️ World Central Kitchen is distributing meals to people in need

🚨 American Red Cross is helping to shelter more than 9,000 people

🪚 Team Rubicon and Inspiritus are assessing damage and beginning debris removal from roadways

🛠️ ToolBank USA and its affiliates across FL are supplying tools and equipment to support cleanup efforts
