MEET KATIE MOYDELL!

Katie is a member of the Junior Woman's Club of Columbia. While Katie’s membership pin boasts 17 years, she’s been a part of the GFWC family for most of her life. She knew that one day she would follow in her mother’s footsteps by joining JWC-Columbia but never envisioned they’d be serving on the State Executive Committee together. Katie served as the SC State Director of Junior Clubs from 2014-2018 and then served as the 36th International GFWC Director of Junior Clubs from 2022-2024.

Katie serves on the GFWC and Palmetto Place Board of Directors and is employed as the Director of Life Underwriting and Underwriting Compliance at Colonial Life. Katie loves to learn about new cultures through food and travel and adores adventures with her husband ,Matt, son, Collin and pup, Lulu.

MEET BETH TAYLOR!

Beth is a member of the St. Andrews Woman's Club. She would first like to congratulate Kaye for becoming our state president. Kaye introduced her to GFWC back in 1996. She has been an active member since--first starting with the Junior Woman’s Club of Columbia and then joined her current club. She has met many ladies whom she now calls friends.

She is happily married to her husband, Rex, for 46 years. They have 2 children. They each have 2 children so their joy in life is spending time with the grandchildren. She also enjoys reading, photography, and traveling. She looks forward to serving on the board with her sister Kaye.

We love seeing our JWC Columbia members grow in GFWC-SC! 🥰🥰

MEET MYKITA LEVY!

Mykita has been a member of JWC Columbia for nine years. Born and raised in South Carolina, her family consists of her parents and an older brother. She is also a proud cat mom to two rescue domestic long-haired cats, Sammy and Benji, and she loves all things feline-themed!

Her favorite hobbies include visiting the beach, the mountains, and local festivals. She also enjoys exploring coffee shops and local markets, attending concerts, and spending time with her friends. During football season, you can find her cheering for her alma mater, Clemson University.

As a member of GFWC, she has gained a network of wonderful women who share her passion for community service. It is a supportive sisterhood that has helped her grow more confident and encouraged her to step into leadership roles both within her club and GFWC-SC, and embrace new challenges in technical creativity with her club's social media pages.

MEET CARRIE ZIMMERMAN!

Carrie is a member of the Seneca Junior Woman’s Club.

She is a working mom, wife, business owner, volunteer, and all-around jack of all trades and a master of none. She enjoys walking, gardening, yoga, reading, crafting, and being a good friend/colleague/person. GFWC has allowed her to meet so many like-minded people who live the volunteer spirit and share their passions, and allows her to share hers. Carrie has also been able to grow in her leadership and public speaking skills to help others and share knowledge that she has learned over the years.
