She came to us asking about windows, but our inspection revealed something much more serious. A failing roof had been quietly damaging her home from the inside out for years.

On April 28th, our Rebuilding Day, volunteers from Chapelgate Church joined our crew to tackle roof repairs, wall and door damage, lighting, painting, landscaping, and more. And we are not done yet. Siding and water damage work is still ahead.

Buch Construction Inc has been volunteering on Rebuilding Day for years and it is impressive to see how organized and skilled they are at doing a lot of major repairs in a short period of time. Today, they made an unsafe deck safe again for a single mom and her daughter AND installed a privacy fence around her property. Thank you, Buch Construction!

Thank you, Columbia Ski Club, for joining us again this year! Their volunteers rolled up their sleeves all worked all day to help an elderly neighbor in need. She was thrilled with the work they did for her!

We caught them on their lunch break - but it was clear that this team from M&T Bank had been hard at work and was getting things done! From landscaping to a big deck painting job - we thank them for making a difference for this deserving neighbor in need.

Many thanks to the awesome volunteer team from the Elkridge Rotary Club. They helped a lovely Elkridge homeowner by repairing and painting her front and back porches, and they freshened up her landscaping - and it appeared they had a great time doing it!

Christ Memorial Presbyterian Church’s team of volunteers took on some big tasks for a local neighbor in need. They’ve participated on for years and aren’t afraid of the hard stuff! Today they took on major deck repairs, dry wall repairs, and painting throughout the home. We appreciate you, Christ Memorial Presbyterian Church ❤️

Today, the Howard County Police Department’s team of volunteers made it possible for an elderly homeowner to continue a hobby that she loves - gardening. She’s unable to get down on the ground to garden anymore so this team build two large raised garden beds for her, even driving hours to get cedar boards to line the boxes with! What an amazing gift they’ve given this family!
