Dear MACH Friends and Supporters
Thank you again for a wonderfully attended MACH General Membership Meeting on Friday. It was great to see everyone and hear about the meaningful work you are doing in your communities.

Spot a Scam: Fake USPS text messages are asking for personal information.

SLED is warning South Carolina residents about a FAKE TEXT that may look like it’s from the United States Postal Service (USPS).

If you receive a text message about a delayed package from USPS, asking you to click on a link to update your address, it’s a SCAM!

If the link is not USPS.com, it's a SCAM!

How to spot the scam:
• The United States Postal Service (USPS) will never reach out directly to consumers and ask for money or Personal Identifying Information (PII).
• The United States Postal Service (USPS) always uses USPS.com as their email address.
• Look for emails and texts featuring the subject line, “Delivery Failure Notification,” language regarding an unsuccessful attempt to deliver a package.

It's best to DELETE the scam text if you have received it because the link could be malicious. If you clicked a link on the scam text, monitor your bank and credit card accounts and report any fraudulent charges.

Today’s General Membership meeting in Rock Hill was a great success. We had an amazing turnout filled with valuable information, productive discussions, and meaningful networking.
