The Columbia, South Carolina Chapter of the University of Tennessee Alumni Association is open to all former students, friends and family of any of the University of Tennessee campuses. Our Mission
Our goal is to support the programs, mission, and campuses of the University of Tennessee system including:
- To support the activities of the University of Tennessee toward the realization of it
s educational and athletic programs.
- To promote and support the goals and objectives of the Alumni Association of the University of Tennessee.
- To establish and promote goals and chapter projects which tend to strengthen the ties between the members, the chapter, the University of Tennessee, and our wonderful community partners in Columbia, South Carolina.
- To unite for social purposes those persons who are interested in the distinguished record and future progress of The University of Tennessee.
- To act as an agency for the dissemination of information regarding the educational advantages of the University of Tennessee.
- Build friendships between members and our community, serve our local community, promote stewardship and demonstrate the values of the University. Chapter Overview
The Columbia, South Carolina Chapter Board of Directors develop and coordinate a year-round calendar of social and educational programs, designed to foster friendship and honor the goals and mission of the University of Tennessee system. We are a not-for-profit organization, organized strictly to provide our members with services and the opportunity for networking and friendship. We are a dues-free organization, with any event fees established to cover only event costs or to be used towards the general operating fund.
