Columbia Dream Center We serve Columbia and surrounding areas through food, shelter, clothing, and resources. Walk-ins welcome.

Our Mission-to serve the Columbia Community and surrounding area through food, shelter, clothing, and resources. "filling needs and healing hurts"

Our Outreach Schedule includes the following:

Soup Kitchen – Weekdays 11 am to 12 pm
Food Pantry – Tuesdays 5 to 6:30 pm
Wednesdays 10 to 11 AM
Clothing Bank – Mondays 9 to 11 am
Tuesdays 5 to 6:30 pm
Community Meals – 4:30 to 6:30 pm the first and last Sunday of each month
Power Packs – Thursday pick up, visit our website to sign up and receive more details
Adopt-a-Block – Thursdays 11 am
Church Service – Sundays 10 am
SFSP – Weekdays 11 am to 12:30 pm over the summer (lunch, water games and fun for kids and their families)
Celebrate Recovery – Thursdays 5:30 pm meal, worship 6 pm, small groups 7 pm
Restart Day Center - Monday-Thursday 9 am to 3 pm, open to the public and guests to assist those in need with resumes, job searches, housing searches, ID forms and more. Email the Restart Center to set up an evening appointment. The Columbia Shelter - open year-round, please call 717-449-0492 for more information

What does it mean to say, “I am the Columbia Dream Center”?

It means that if you have ever walked through our doors for a hot meal, groceries, clothing, a safe place to stay, or simply someone to talk to when life feels overwhelming, YOU are the Columbia Dream Center.

We are more than a building. We are a community. We are hope in the middle of hardship, a helping hand during a difficult season, and a reminder that no one should have to face life's struggles alone. Every person who walks through our doors is part of our story. ❤️

🎬 We encourage everyone to watch the movie No Address.

This powerful film shines a light on homelessness and reminds us that life can change in the blink of an eye. Sometimes, we are only one paycheck, one unexpected bill, one medical emergency, or one life-changing circumstance away from needing the very help we once thought we would never need.

The story follows a successful businessman whose life takes an unexpected turn, humbling him to the point where he needs help from the very unhoused community he once wanted to push away.

It's a powerful reminder that homelessness does not define a person's worth, and someone's current circumstances do not determine their future.

Now imagine a world without the Columbia Dream Center.

If our doors closed tomorrow, the need wouldn't disappear. People would still be hungry. Families would still struggle to make ends meet. People would still need clothing, shelter, resources, and someone willing to listen. The need would still be there, but where would people turn?

That's why we exist. That's why we serve. And that's why this community matters.
