Thanks for sharing your story today!!! You have been given a compelling life story with the best undoubtedly yet to home!!

Today I had an early morning in Columbia where I was able to do what this whole thing has been all about: share my story of domestic violence and educate others on how they can be better advocates in their communities.

As some icing on the cake, the executive director at the domestic violence shelter I work at, Michele Snodderly, is a member of the club and was able to introduce me. Her introduction made both of us tear up. What a full circle journey it’s been from me being a client at the shelter to now.

A big thank you to Glen Ehrhardt for inviting me to present. Glen is the board president for the shelter, True North of Columbia, and is not only a great advocate for survivors, but has been a big supporter on my journey to Miss America! This was a great morning of education and fellowship that I will remember forever 🤍

Always great running into past club members! It was great to see Jack Holloway today in Branson while visiting his new home club after relocating.
