Members and honored guests had the opportunity to hear from owner, Chalmers Carr, on the need for H2A reform and SC Rep. Russell Ott for a 2026 legislative recap. We were also treated to a special tour of the Titan Farm operation!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Gamble Family Farms for graciously hosting our fourth stop on the PABC Tour. Jason Gamble, the steward of a remarkable multi-generational farm in the P*e Dee, shared his inspiring journey. He recalled how his Granddaddy, a WWII veteran, entrusted the legacy of the farm to his Father (Steve), and subsequently to him and his brother (Steven). Jason’s talk illuminated the many challenges farmers face today, resonating deeply with all of us. His voice matters. Zan, from TomlinsonAg, his voice matters. Furman, from Ingram Lumber, his voice matters. And, the dedicated team at WestRock, their voices matter. This is the essence of agribusiness. This is the heart of South Carolina.

PABC had a fantastic time gathering with many of its members at SC Farm Bureau’s Palmetto Palate recently. The event brought so many folks together that share a common zeal for conserving the treasure that is the sand, soil, and sea of South Carolina. The event also brings together so many folks that believe in growing businesses around agriculture and growing culture around agribusiness in our beautiful state. Thank you SC Farm Bureau for another convivial event!
