What a great week of connection, collaboration, and learning! 🎉

Our Regional Roundtables and Charter School Board Orientations were packed with engaged participants and valuable conversations in Charleston, Spartanburg, and Columbia.

From legislative priorities and state report card successes to meaningful discussions on healthy board governance, these gatherings have the Alliance energized about the work ahead and the continued engagement with our member schools in the months to come!

Exciting news for the charter community in South Carolina! 🎉

The National Institute for Excellence in Teaching (NIET) is partnering with the South Carolina Public Charter School District to bring its proven teacher development model to six SC public charter schools through SC RISE, a three-year, $16 million federally funded project. The work will support 327 teachers and more than 5,000 students.

As we continue to advocate for high-quality public charter schools, we’re thankful for NIET’s investment in SC teachers and in growing our schools into strong, exceptional options for families right here at home. 💙
