Happy I-PhiT Friday! By age 55 three out of 4 African Americans will develop high blood pressure. We can change that statistic. Just 30 mins of cardio or aerobic exercise a day, 3-4 days a week can lower high blood pressure and help reduce the risk of it developing.

Grab a friend and try:
A brisk walk
Jogging
Bike riding
Basketball
Dancing
Swimming
Even yard work if you can talk your friend into it.

Happy I-PhiT Friday! Make 2020 the year you get the rest you deserve. Of course you can function on 4 hours of sleep but with a recommended 7-9 hours of sleep not only will you be more productive, it will help your body fight potential health risk.

Need help sleeping try::
Getting into a routine
Turning off all the lights (even the tv and put down that phone)
Not eating or exercising right before bed.

The Polaris Davon Key helped to facilitate change and the chapter planned it 2020 yearly calendar. The Brothers would also like to thank Dr. Tyrone Power for coming to speak on the state if the African-American community and how the chapter and those in attendance can help improve it.
