KOP Deputy Sir Knight Edward Staggers and District Eleven Knights of Pythagoras hosted their 12th Annual Black History program, delivering an outstanding performance in collaboration with the MBTGYC and the Knights. Special gratitude is extended to The Graham Girls, OES, Masonic Brothers, parents, and distinguished guests for their continued support.

Walker B Dent Council #249 took a trip to the International African American Museum. This trip was to gather information of the past, while identifying those who paved the way for our future. This is only their second trip there, but this trip was different. They watched the young men engage with each other over the exhibits and artifacts. The smiles, conversations, and excitement while looking up their family members on the kiosks in the research room was priceless. These young men are OUR future. Let's remind our youth that they are destined for greatness everyday. Our youth need us, lets continue to guide them so that we don't lose them to this wicked world. Black history may only be recognized in February, but we shouldn't limit it to those 28 days. We should remind our youth of ALL of our accomplishments throught the year.
