Today, we join countless others in mourning the loss of Dolly Parton, an extraordinary talent, philanthropist, and proud 4-H alumna. Her life was a shining example of leadership, hard work, generosity, and staying true to your roots. Dolly's impact reached far beyond music, inspiring generations through her commitment to serving others and creating opportunities for young people.
As members of the 4-H family, we are especially grateful for the example she set and the legacy she leaves behind. Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and the millions whose lives she touched.
Thank you, Dolly, for showing the world what it means to lead with heart.

Today we mourn the loss of an American icon, a beloved philanthropist and a proud 4-H alumna, Dolly Parton. Her extraordinary life was defined not only by her incredible talent, but by her unwavering generosity, compassion and commitment to helping others.

For generations of young people, Dolly embodied what it means to use your gifts in service of others.
