Save the Shakespeare's Raccoon

Save the Shakespeare's Raccoon Romeo is a raccoon that lives in the storm drain on 9th st. and patrons the Shakespeare's trashcan. He gives students hope with his fat bod and manic energy.

His main food source, the corner trashcan, now sits empty. Don't let him starve! Viva la Romeo!

We need to keep the raccoon population happy! Raccoons have opposable thumbs and therefore have the ability to master fire. Stop a revolution and feed Romeo

This is a video of Romeo's nightly scramble betwee his bed (the storm drain) and his kitchen (the trashcan outside of Shakespeare's)

Romeo is the raccoon that lives on the corner of 9th and Elm. Brave and resourceful Romeo survives on the leftover pizza that he liberates from the trashcan outside of Shakespeare's.

I'm not the first person to tell you that the effects of the COVID-19 quarantine are disastrous, especially to the urban dwelling raccoon population. It's our responsibility, nay, DUTY to speak up for those who's voices can't be heard during these troubling times. As Romeo is a raccoon, he doesn't have a voice at all (that we know of), so we must work together to make sure that our favorite Shakespeare's raccoon isn't forgotten!

I'm asking everyone to keep Romeo in their prayers. If you are still in Columbia, visit him and throw a pizza crust his way. If you have time to spare, maybe play some trash B12 music to remind him of better times.

Thank you
