It is with a heavy heart that we share that funding from the Boone County Children’s Services Board (BCCSB) for FACE Community-Based Services will end on December 31, 2026. As part of its broader effort to reduce expenditures across all contracted programs and ensure the long-term sustainability of the Children’s Services Fund, BCCSB has identified the services it will continue to support through its future funding. These include school-based services through the Boone County Schools Coalition, juvenile justice prevention and diversion efforts, and the Therapy Access Program. FACE Community-Based Services is not included in those future BCCSB-funded services and is unable to continue. Until the end of the year, FACE Community-Based Services will continue to receive referrals from dedicated community partners such as yourself and provide families with short-term case management. For the past 10 years, FACE Community-Based Services has been deeply honored to serve Boone County. Our highest priority remains the health and well-being of families across our community. We are dedicated to receiving self-referrals from families and referrals from community providers and actively working with families in need of support for the remainder of the year. We are profoundly grateful for our community partners and their ongoing collaboration. While this portion of our program is closing, the impact of the relationships built here will endure.
