From 1-3 p.m., Attendees can pick up their Veteran Pack, learn more about local resources and connect with other veterans. If you aren't able to make it, Veteran Packs will be available at the front desk following the event on a first-come, first-served basis.

Check out our upcoming special distributions this month! On Wednesday, June 3, stop by from 1 to 3 p.m. to receive a hygiene bag and have a chance to connect with representatives from the Missouri Department of Social Services on additional support programs.

Later in the month, stop by from 10 a.m. to Noon on Wednesday, June 17 to receive diapers and baby food/formula! A range of community partners will also be available to provide more information on their services, including:

⭐Parents as Teachers
⭐My Life Clinic
⭐Lutheran Family and Children Services

As always, special distributions are available on a first-come, first-served basis in our community center. Stop by while supplies last!

We want to give a quick shoutout to some amazing volunteers. For the past couple of months, two members of the Mizzou Club Swim team have been volunteering on Saturdays at The Food Bank Market. Recently, Alex and Ryan earned their 40-hour T-shirt with us!

"The thing I like most about volunteering at The Market is the ability to make people’s days a little brighter. I have always been one for helping others, and I feel that my time at The Food Bank allows me to do that in many ways. Whether I am packaging up groceries, chatting it up, or even just greeting them with a smile, I always feel that I am making a positive impact on our neighbors’ days," Alex said.

Stop by next week for our Resume Building Workshop! Work with specialists to practice interviewing skills and develop your resume, helping you start off on the right track for your next interview. Those who join the workshop will leave with an updated resume and a prize for stopping in!

The Summer Food Service Program is a great resource for families in need of food, providing meals at no cost for children ages 0-18 throughout the summer.

The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) helps assure that eligible populations have access to nutritious meals during the summer months. Meals are available at no cost to kids 0-18 years old.
