This Point Forward's mission is to empower 50+ adults to rethink the next phase of their lives, to combine their passion with a purpose for continued meaningful engagement, whether paid or unpaid, full-time, or part-time. This Point Forward plans to provide meaningful connections, training, referrals, and opportunities for older adults that will enhance their second phase as well as create good fo

r their communities. Research demonstrates the power of purpose in the lives of older adults and underscores the desire of this growing population to contribute to the well-being of others in their community and the wider world.

After more than six years of connecting Howard County seniors as they transition into retirement and the next phase of life, This Point Forward is closing its doors.

We're so grateful to everyone who was part of this journey with us — members, volunteers, and partners alike. Because of you, seniors across Howard County found connection and community during an important life transition.
