I will forever miss my dear friend, Janice E. Lewis. I met her through her work with the Quilts of Valor organization. She handmade quilts for every veteran in our Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association chapter in Columbia for more than 5 years. She always had such a warm hug, sweet smile, & so much fun to be around. This is a crushing loss for so many. Please say a prayer for her family.

Hope everyone is doing great. Just wanted to let everyone know that KY 1-6 has a new Facebook. We will be posting a lot to the new page, events, future events and pictures as we travel to everyone’s events.

CVMA®️ TN 18-5 had our annual Christmas dinner last night, oh what a great time. With last year’s having to be canceled due to COVID-19, we really made up for it this year. The meal was awesome, as was the Dirty Santa played by all. A lot of fun and laughs had by all. Thank you to Ethan came out and helped make this event awesome.

This Saturday is Scott Stokoe “Old Skool’s” customer appreciation days at his motorcycle shop in Hohenwald. The young lady (with Cerebral Palsy), we spoke of at our last meeting is wanting 16 motorcycle rides on her 16th birthday too. Come out and help us celebrate one of our very own members, and help a young lady with a birthday wish. We will meet at Twice Daily in Neapolis at 11:00, KSU AT 11:15-11:20. If it’s inclement weather, bring you car or pickup, don’t let the weather dictate showing support. Come join us.

We had an awesome turnout for the Frederick Family Benefit Ride this past Saturday. 87 bikes, 154 people and we were able to donate $6000 to the family. Thank you to our great community, y’all made this happen. Special thanks to The Boondox, Wayne Collier, Michelle Baxter, Chris Turner, Malachias Gaskin, members of 18-5 that helped so much.

18-5 is hosting a benefit ride for a family that suffered a horrible house fire on May 29. 2 family members tragically lost their lives, and we want to try and help in some small way. Come help us help them on July 3rd.
