Today, we pause to remember the extraordinary bravery and sacrifice of the Allied forces who stormed the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944.

Operation Overlord was a pivotal moment in World War II, demanding unprecedented courage and strategic resolve. We honor the thousands of service members who gave their lives to secure a foothold in Europe and defend the cause of freedom. Their legacy continues to inspire our mission and our commitment to national security.

We will never forget their sacrifice.
