September 23 - “The Tunnel Rat” a real life adventure told by CW Bowman, an American soldier in Vietnam. He will tell us that it was his job to crawl, alone with a flashlight and pistol, into the tight, claustrophobic tunnels that the Viet Cong dug to hide in, and kill the enemy. Be sure to mark your calendar not to miss this.

October 7 – Joel Lourie one of our generous sponsors, will bring us valuable updated information about Medicare and other health insurance programs that can be useful to us. Joel is well known to most of us and has answers to all of your Medicare and health insurance questions.

October 14 - Grace Martin at SC Department of Environmental Services will enlighten us about this state agency and how they serve our community. She will focus on recycling and provide us with important information of which we may not be aware.

October 21 - Happy Musicians – Will be here to celebrate October Fest with their rousing German folk music. This will be their second visit to Shepherd’s Center as the last one left us wanting more. Put this on your calendar and don’t miss this fun and entertaining program.

October 28 – Annual Halloween Costume Parade – Join the fun at our great parade of costumes. Who or What will you be this year? Every year gets bigger and better as we compete for prizes of $50, $30, or $20. Come to see what your Shepherd’s Center Friends are disguised as this year!
