Scouting is a year-round program for youth 11-17 years old that provides fun, adventure, learning, and responsibility to help them become the best version of themselves. Troop 8 is a boys only troop that meets weekly on Monday nights at 7:00 P.M. We have one outoor adventure a month (hiking, camping, biking, backpacking, climbing, or canoeing). Most outdoor adventures are overnight trips within 10
0 miles of Columbia. Annually, we attend a week long summer camp. Because of COVID 19, overnight trips currently require a household member provide transportation to and from the event. Visit a Troop 8 meeting with your son. The best way to find out if Scouting is right for you and your son is to attend a meeting. Boys will find friends in Troop 8 from most of the elementary, middle and high schools in a large radius around Incarnation Lutheran.
