These little girls had no idea what God had planned. 💕

Different backgrounds. Different experiences. Different journeys.

And somehow, God would bring them together years later at 431 Ministries to help women in our community navigate overwhelming life situations and move toward stability, confidence, and an independent future.

Looking back at these childhood photos, we’re reminded that God is always writing a bigger story than we can see.

And we’re so grateful these women are part of the story He is writing through 431. 🙌

So thankful for the 431 staff and the way they show up to serve women in our community. 💛

Every person on this team brings something different, and together, they make 431 a place where women feel safe, supported, and cared for through every season. We are grateful for each yes, each prayer, each hard conversation, and each act of love and service along the way.

The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. Psalm 126:3

“Am I confident in my ability to manage my own money?”

This question is part of the Re:Store Me Assessment women complete as they begin their journey with 431. It helps identify where support is needed most, not just practically, but emotionally too.

47.6% of women rated themselves a 1 or 2.

For many of the women we serve, this isn’t just about finances. It’s connected to past hardships, including financial abuse, and a lack of access to tools, guidance, and support.

At 431, we walk alongside each woman as she builds confidence, learns new skills, and begins to make wise financial decisions based on healthy emotions.

Because understanding your finances isn’t just about numbers. It’s about freedom. Your donation to 431 helps women gain the support, tools, and confidence they need to move toward greater independence in all areas of their lives.

It’s time to USE YOUR FINANCES TO HELP local women build confidence in theirs.

🚗 Practical knowledge. Real confidence. 🚗

After our Re:Store Commitments class earlier this month, Jake Nellessen, owner of Redefined Pest Solutions, came by the 431 office to lead a Cars 101 Workshop for our attendees.

From checking your oil to changing a tire and safely using jumper cables, Jake taught hands-on skills that help women feel more prepared, capable, and confident in everyday situations. These moments may seem small, but practical knowledge like this can make a big difference in helping a woman move toward a more independent future.

Thank you, Jake, for giving your time and sharing your knowledge with us. What a reminder that there are so many meaningful ways to volunteer and make an impact in the lives of local women.

What knowledge, skill, or experience could you share to help women in our community? 🤔

🎓 A very special Side-by-Side graduation. 🙌

Last month, we celebrated our first Side-by-Side graduation in the new space, a full-circle moment made even more special by Sarah’s journey.

Almost exactly 2 years ago, Sarah first reached out to 431 wanting to “make a better life” for her 9-month-old daughter. What followed was not an easy journey. There were career changes, loss, hard conversations, moments of uncertainty, and countless opportunities to give up.

But Sarah KEPT SHOWING UP.

She kept trying, even on the days she didn’t want to. She did the hard work. She allowed people in. She opened herself up to truth, support, community, and growth, and over time, we watched her become a completely different woman than the one who first walked through our doors.

Today, what stands out most about Sarah is her incredible resilience, along with the confidence and joy she now carries so naturally.

Watching women begin to believe they are capable of something different, and then step into a more stable, hope-filled, independent future, is one of the greatest gifts of what we do here. Sarah’s story is such a beautiful picture of that.

Congratulations, Sarah! We are so proud of you! 👏👏👏

☺️ A meaningful April at 431! ☺️

April was a special month in our new office because we are now teaching classes in a real classroom and meeting with women in spaces designed for them to feel safe and supported. 🙌

In April’s Re:Store Planning class we reminded our ladies that planning is not about control, it is about preparation, confidence, and wise stewardship of our time, resources and responsibilities. The clients learned that we can look to God in the area of planning, because God is the original planner, creating us with a plan and purpose.

April also brought a sweet Side-by-Side graduation in our new space. Sarah was Rachel’s final Side-by-Side client, a meaningful, full-circle moment for our entire team.

And our Re:New Emotional Health series continued, taught by Kristin, a past Side-by-Side graduate who came back to teach the very class that helped change her life. What a powerful picture of healing that keeps multiplying.

More women in our community need this level of support, and we’re committed to being here.

Will you give a special gift of $36 today to celebrate the 36 unique ladies we served in April?

👏 And, THANK YOU to every volunteer, supporter, and donor who makes this work possible. 👏

🎉 Highlight video! 🎉

What a special morning celebrating 8 years of 431 Ministries and welcoming so many of you into our new space for the first time.

To every community leader, supporter, volunteer, and friend who stopped by our Open House + Birthday celebration on Tuesday morning, THANK YOU for showing up and celebrating with us. It was such a meaningful reminder of the community surrounding the women of 431.

👉 As we continue settling into our new space, we still have one big need left: raising the final $1,800 for our building sign. That sign will help more women find us, and this new space gives us the ability to welcome and support more women than ever before. Please go to our website to give today!

Thank you for celebrating with us, praying for us, supporting this work, and believing in what God continues to do through 431. We are so grateful for each of you. 💛

And thank you again for sponsoring this joyous event!

Yesterday’s Open House and 8th Birthday Celebration was such a meaningful day for 431, and we are so grateful to the businesses who helped make it possible! 💛

A huge thank you to our presenting sponsor, Listerhill Credit Union, for supporting the work we do and helping us celebrate 8 years of walking alongside women in this community as they find hope and develop a plan for an independent future.

Thank you as well to Legacy Coffee Co. for keeping everyone fueled with their amazing coffee, and to Chick-fil-A Columbia (TN) for generously providing food for our guests.

We are incredibly thankful for community partners who choose to come alongside this work and the women we serve. Yesterday was a beautiful reminder that none of this happens alone.
