Meet Paths to Wholeness (PTW), the first SCARR-certified residence in Orangeburg, SC! Paths to Wholeness is a faith-based nonprofit serving women in recovery and justice-involved women across South Carolina.

PTW’s Beatrice Davis Transitional Home for Women provides a safe, structured environment where women can access recovery support, life-skills development, workforce preparation, financial literacy, educational assistance, and more.

Meet South Carolina Vocational Construction, a newly certified SCARR residence. South Carolina Vocational Construction is a six-month residential recovery and vocational training program that combines supportive recovery housing with hands-on education in carpentry and construction.

How does it work? During the first two months, participants focus primarily on classroom instruction, textbook learning, shop safety, tool use, and foundational carpentry skills. During the remainder of the program, participants transition into paid, hands-on training where they can apply what they have learned in a real-world construction environment.
