This is not a campaign rally. This is not a candidate event.

This is a family-friendly celebration of voting, community, and using our voices.

We’re talking:

Kahlia’s leadership reflects the kind of excellence every organization hopes to have at its table. She brings steadiness, discernment, accountability, and an unwavering commitment to the mission of Girl Get Up Society.

She leads with intention, represents GGUS with grace, and consistently shows up in ways that strengthen both our board and our organization. Her presence is felt not only in the decisions being made, but in the standard of leadership she helps set.

We are deeply grateful for the confidence, consistency, and care she brings to this work. Her leadership has been instrumental in helping GGUS continue to grow with purpose, integrity, and vision.

Mindful Steps Update‼️

Due to inclement weather, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Mindful Steps Mental Health Awareness Walk.

We know so many of you were looking forward to walking with us, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who registered, volunteered, shared the event, and helped us prepare.

But we’re not done bringing the community together this month. 👀

Our next event is Party at the Polls: Football Tailgate Edition on Saturday, October 24 from 12–4 PM at JT’s Kia!

It’s FREE and family-friendly, with food, music, games, giveaways, community resources, and a whole lot of tailgate fun. 🏈

So while we won’t be walking together this weekend, we hope you’ll come party with us later this month.

Hope After the Storm: Recognizing the Signs and Finding Hope is a virtual group for adult women focused on su***de awareness, difficult conversations, practical support, and reminding us that no one has to face their hardest moments alone.

Join our Volunteer Ambassador team and help us welcome guests, support event activities, assist along the walk route, and help create a great experience from start to finish.
