Lizzie's Little Free Pantry We are a free community pantry @ 533 Chris Drive, Columbia, MO. Give what you can; take what you need! Donations are always welcome!

Our pantry mostly serves local children who may be preparing their own meals and mid to low income families. If you are unable to drop off items directly but would like to make a donation you may Venmo -Wilkinson-19. Does anyone in this group know of families that need a meal for Thanksgiving?

Our Nonprofit, Nourish the Soul, in Jefferson City, MO offers Gracegiving Meals through the Holiday Season!

The meals are not cooked but include the following:

Ham or Turkey
Instant Mashed potatoes
Gravy in a jar or packet
Canned corn
Canned green beans
Canned sweet potatoes
Stove top stuffing
Mac n Cheese
Cranberry sauce
Rolls
Pumpkin Pie
Fresh fruit

(We offer items such as chicken stock, butter, salt, pepper, evaporated milk, cinnamon, roasting pan, can opener, turkey cooking bag etc., if needed)

We provide based on the number of family members in the household.

If you know of a family in need, please have them contact us via facebook or at our office.

We take calls Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm.

Pick up or delivery (in JC only) will be
Monday Nov. 22nd and Tuesday Nov 23rd.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce I am closing the pantry. Unfortunately, we have had a lot of vandalism from local kids. Food is getting wasted and our yard trashed. Without parental support, I see no way to get it to stop. :'(

I will be posting other local pantries in the coming days in the event anyone would like to contribute or needs food.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

CDC’s National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP) provides breast and cervical cancer screenings and diagnostic services to low-income, uninsured, and underinsured women across the United States.

Are You or Someone You Love Eligible for Free or Low-Cost Mammogram Screenings?

You may be eligible for free or low-cost screenings if you meet these qualifications—
-You have no insurance, or your insurance does not cover screening exams.
-Your yearly income is at or below 250% of the federal poverty level https://aspe.hhs.gov/.../poverty.../poverty-guidelines
-You are between 40 and 64 years of age for breast cancer screening.
-You are between 21 and 64 years of age for cervical cancer screening.
-Certain women who are younger or older may qualify for screening services.

We’ll be at the Derby Ridge Elementary Back-to-School Event, 4000 Derby Ridge Dr., Columbia, tomorrow (Aug. 7) giving COVID-19 vaccines from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. We’ll be administering Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson. No appointment needed!

Vaccines are free and do not require ID or health insurance. Anyone aged 12 or older is eligible for Pfizer. Anyone aged 18 and older is eligible for Johnson & Johnson. Parental consent forms are required for anyone under the age of 18.

In addition to these clinics, vaccination opportunities are available with other local vaccinators. Information can be found here: CoMo.gov/CovidVaccine.
