Last week, our Minority Owned Business Committee (MOBC) held a mixer at Kc’s Southern Soul & More,LLC! If you haven't had the opportunity to try their food, you need to. They're open W-F 11-6 and Sunday 12-7.

Attendees also got the opportunity to hear from and connect with Galen Longo, the Director of Tennessee Small Business Development Center - MTSU. The Tennessee Small Business Development Center offers support for small business owners completely free! Stop by our office or shoot us a DM to learn more.

If you didn't get a chance to pop into this Minority Owned Business mixer, we're having a joint committee mixer with our Minority Owned, Young Professionals, and Women in Business committees on Monday, October 19th! We hope to see you there.

Yesterday was something special. We had the privilege of co-hosting a Women in Business Luncheon with Spring Hill Chamber of Commerce (TN)! Special thanks to Shea Smith for speaking to our ladies, sharing her story, and encouraging us as women and as leaders!

This month's Ambassador of the Month is MacKenzie Bybee!

MacKenzie is an Affiliate Broker at Town and Country Realtors. She loves getting to help people in all walks of life find their perfect home or property. She's lived in Columbia her whole life, so she has a "deep love for Maury County and a lot of knowledge" of the community she serves in her work and as an ambassador.

She told us: "I love being an ambassador because it gives me so many opportunities to meet new people, build relationships, and help others take advantage of all the incredible resources the Chamber has to offer."

MacKenzie has been an ambassador for about 5 months, and we're so thankful for every moment we've had with her (and every moment to come)! We couldn't do what we do without our ambassadors.
