We’re back for the 4th annual Hot Rods for Heroes car show taking over historic Main Street in Columbia, IL on June 28, 2026!

It was an absolute honor to present a check for $10,000 to The BackStoppers Inc. from our show! This kind of donation isn’t possible without the great support we received from our incredible sponsors, the car community, and all those who came out to take part in supporting a great cause. We can’t thank you all enough and look forward to another successful show in 2026!

The BackStoppers of Monroe County raised $10,000 from the 2025 Hot Rods for Heroes! Thank to everyone that made this donation possible!

You can also support our mission through BackStoppers of Monroe County by attending the Lemonade Stand for BackStoppers THIS Saturday and the Philly Pretzel Co. Fundraising with a Twist will be donating 10% of proceeds during the entire month of August!

That’s a wrap for the 3rd annual Hot Rods for Heores!

An incredivle turnout of 183 of the nicest cars and trucks took over Main Street in Columbia! We want to thank everyone for sticking with us through the heat to continue building this event into one of the best car shows in the area! This show continues to blow us away by the amount of support we see for our first responders and BackStoppers!

Thank you to all our participants for sharing your passion for cars with us and congratulations to all of our award winners!

A final thank you to our incredible sponsors! Their generosity helps us get the wheels in motion for this show each and every year! This year we were honored to present our good friends at Hytech Auto Trim with a Platinum Supporter award at the show for their support of our event!

Hot Rods for Heroes will be back in 2026 for what we expect to be the best show yet!

🚨 ITS ALMOST SHOWTIME 🚨

This Sunday, June 22nd, Hot Rods for Heroes is taking over Historic Main Street in Columbia,IL for the third time!

Registration: registration is from 8-noon on the day of the event. The registration tent will be on E. Legion St. just off of Main St. Walk on up to the tent after your car is parked on the route. Registration is $20.

Parking: cars being shown will be directed to a parking spot on Main Street. Show parking is first come first serve. We recommend you show up with a group to ensure you can all park together. ALL show cars will enter Main Street on Cedar Street (just north of City Hall. Cedar Street can be accessed from S. Rapp Ave. from the north and south. There will be signs leading you in from both directions. Trailer parking is available behind Eagleview Elementary School (113 S Rapp Ave).

Weather: the Hot Rods aren’t the only thing that’ll be hot this Sunday. The forecast is showing a high of 96 and sunny. Please take precautions to keep cool and well hydrated.

We will be selling water and soda at the BackStoppers information booth on E. Legion St. along with this year’s limited edition t-shirt!

Food is available from vendors and restaurants along Main Street.

We thank you all again for your continued support of BackStoppers and making this event a huge success year after year!

🚨EXCITING ADDITION TO HOT RODS FOR HEROES

This year we will have displays set up from our local first responders!

The Columbia Police Department will be doing demonstrations with K9 Unit and the Drone Unit!

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department is bringing their armored truck for display and pedal cars!

Come meet local first responders in the Columbia City Hall parking lot and learn about the work they do to keep our community safe!

We’re under a month out from filling Main Street with the nicest cars in the metro east.

As a reminder, we are not taking vehicle registration in advance. Registration will be day of the event at the registration tent after you park. Registration will be from 8-12.
