The South Carolina Chapter of the National Association of Environmental Professionals is an organization dedicated to developing the highest standards of ethics and proficiency in the environmental professions across the state. The National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP) is an interdisciplinary organization dedicated to developing the highest standards of ethics and proficiency

in the environmental professions across multiple states. Members are public and private sector professionals who promote excellence in decision-making in light of the environmental, social, and economic impacts of those decisions. To find out more about NAEP, please visit www.naep.org.

SCDNR's State Bat Biologist, Jennifer Kindel, and Three Oaks Engineering's veteran Bat Biologist will be the guest speakers. They will team up to speak about bats in South Carolina, including bat habitat in SC, regulations to protect these species, and bat survey methodologies.

Join us for our next lunch & learn this Friday, August 27 at noon. Our feature presentation is by Joseph Inman from FEMA Environmental and Historic Preservation (EHP). Joseph is an Environmental Specialist with FEMA and is part of the FEMA Integration Team (FIT) in Columbia. He will be speaking about FEMA EHP and FIT, their roles and responsibilities, and their NEPA policies and practices as it relates to FEMA and grant funding. There will also be a Q&A opportunity with Joseph after his presentation, and we will be providing some updates on the development of our new NAEP Chapter.
