AYRA Baseball and Softball

AYRA Baseball and Softball AYRA has provided Howard County (MD) communities a youth baseball program that is fun, competitive, educational, and safe for children 5-18 since 1968.

Community sports are a great way for kids to learn about physical fitness, teamwork, winning, losing, and sportsmanship under all circumstances. The Atholton Youth Recreation Association (AYRA) has been providing Howard County Maryland communities (Clarksville, Columbia, Fulton, Maple Lawn, Laurel, Savage, Simpsonville) a youth baseball program that is fun, competitive, educational, and safe for c

hildren aged five to eighteen years old since 1953. Our baseball program is based on carefully-balanced objectives. While our first, and most important, focus is to create a fun and enjoyable baseball experience for children, this objective is balanced with a program aimed at developing fundamental baseball skills. Our program is designed to develop those fundamental skills at an early age and then continually hone and add to those skills as our players age and play more competitive baseball.

• Opportunity to earn an invitation to the Top Prospect Games and MD/DE State Games

Since its inception in 2005, the Prep Baseball has evolved into one of the country’s biggest and most respected independent scouting services, with a singular focus of providing comprehensive coverage in every state. Now, more than 800 colleges and pro scouts subscribe to the Prep Baseball services. We take great pride in providing the most thorough and comprehensive high school baseball coverage in each state.

Prep Baseball events are designed to give players the maximum exposure needed to advance to the next level. Not only will you receive high-level exposure from college coaches, but all players at events will be videotaped, and the edited performance will be hosted on the website.

All players will receive an online profile with their verified statistics, scouting report, picture and video. Additionally, all subsequent stories written about a prospect will be linked to the player’s profile, ultimately creating a one-stop shop for recruiters. Furthermore, the top players will be listed in our statewide player rankings and overall rankings.

Your free player profile will help you showcase your skills to coaches and scouts, increasing your chances of getting noticed.
